My name is Alexandra Clod, I am an interdisciplinary artist, psychologist and researcher.

As an artist, I work in the field of photography, video and performance. I am exploring the notions of borders, emotions, and memory in postcolonial societies. Born in Donetsk, a coal region, I pay attention to the impact of industrial heritage on identity and the environmental crisis. I am attracted to the subject of cyclicity, mythology and the connection between human and land.

As a psychologist who is inspired by art’s transformative power, I explore the crossroads of these two disciplines — therapeutic photography. I see photography as a flexible medium through which people can meet themselves and each other more deeply. My work examines how creative photographic practice can nurture self-awareness and collective coherence. I share this approach through therapeutic and educational workshops, offered both online and in person.
